How accounts work
  • Google sign-in only confirms your trial and purchase.
  • Your budget numbers stay on this device โ€” unless you turn on โ—† Pro Sync, which stores an end-to-end encrypted copy we can't read.
  • One purchase belongs to one Google account. Use the same account on your other devices.
Your data & privacy
  • Stays on your device. Your numbers live only in this app on this device. We never see them. โ—† Pro Sync is optional and end-to-end encrypted โ€” we still can't read it.
  • No account, no ads, no tracking.
  • Yours to take. Backup saves a copy; Restore loads it on any phone or computer.
Backup & restore

On a phone, Backup opens your share menu โ€” pick Save to Drive, Files or email it to yourself. On a computer it goes to Downloads. With the lock on, backup files are encrypted and need your PIN or recovery code to restore.

  1. Open money.oriondigitalventures.com in your browser.
  2. iPhone or iPad (Safari): Share โ†’ Add to Home Screen.
  3. Android (Chrome): โ‹ฎ โ†’ Install app.
  4. PC or Mac (Chrome or Edge): click the install icon at the right of the address bar.

๐Ÿ’ป Use it on more than one device
  1. Install Money HUD on each device (see above).
  2. Sign in with the same Google account on each one. One purchase covers all your own devices; nothing extra to pay.
  3. Choose a PIN on each device. Each device has its own PIN.
  4. Each device keeps its own budget. To see the same budget everywhere, turn on sync with โ—† Pro (next topic), or move it once with Backup and Restore.

Nothing is mixed up or lost: devices only share data when you turn on sync or restore a backup.

โ˜ Sync your devices (โ—† Pro)
  1. On your first device: System โ†’ โ—† Pro โ†’ โ˜ Sync across devices โ†’ Turn on sync.
  2. On the other device: open Money HUD and sign in with the same Google account.
  3. Type your recovery code and set a PIN for that device. Everything is back.

Your budget is locked on the device before it's sent; we store only scrambled data and can't read it. Tap Sync now to update right away.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Share with your partner (โ—† Pro)
  1. System โ†’ โ—† Pro โ†’ ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Share with your partner.
  2. Type your partner's Google email and send them the partner code.
  3. They sign in with that Google email, open System โ†’ โ—† Pro and type the partner code.

One household budget, two phones, each with its own PIN. Their Pro comes with yours.

๐Ÿ”‘ Your recovery code (and a forgotten PIN)
  1. You get your recovery code when you first set your PIN. Write it down or save it somewhere safe.
  2. You need it to open your synced budget on a new device and to open encrypted backups.
  3. Forgot your PIN? On the lock screen tap Forgot PIN? Use recovery code.

We never see your PIN or recovery code, so we can't recover them for you.

๐Ÿ’พ Back up and restore
  1. System โ†’ Data โ†’ Backup now saves a file to your Downloads.
  2. On any device: System โ†’ Data โ†’ Restore and pick that file.

With the lock on, backup files are encrypted and need your PIN or recovery code to restore.

๐Ÿ›’ Bought it on Etsy, Gumroad, Ko-fi or our website?
  1. Open Money HUD and sign in with Google.
  2. System โ†’ Account โ†’ activate your purchase.
  3. Pick the store and enter your order number (Gumroad: license key ยท Ko-fi: the email you paid with), then tap Activate my purchase.

โ—† Pro: add, cancel or refund
  1. Tap โ—† PRO at the top. Pro is an add-on to Basic: $7.99 a month or $69 a year.
  2. Add monthly Pro in your first month and it's free until your one-month mark.
  3. Cancel anytime: System โ†’ Account โ†’ Cancel subscription. Pro runs to the end of what you paid for.
  4. Changed your mind within 7 days of a charge? โ—† PRO โ†’ Refund this Pro charge.

Basic bought in the app can be refunded within 7 days: System โ†’ Account โ†’ Request a refund.
